Images of three men being sought by police in connection with an incident of alleged racism by Chelsea fans on the Paris Metro on Tuesday evening have been released.

The Metropolitan Police said the men were captured on CCTV ahead of the club's 1-1 draw with Paris St-Germain.

It comes after Chelsea barred two more fans from attending Stamford Bridge, taking the total suspended to five.

Footage taken at the station showed a black man being pushed from a train.

The alleged victim, who has since been identified as 33-year-old Souleymane S, said the fans "should be locked up".

A group of people can be heard singing: "We're racist, we're racist and that's the way we like it."

The incident took place at Richelieu-Drouot station in the centre of the French capital and police said the appeal for information is supporting a French police investigation.

Those with information are urged to call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
