Fernando Alonso crashes at turns three-four on the Barcelona track

Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso has been airlifted to hospital for checks after an accident in the McLaren-Honda at Turns Three-Four, on the fourth day of the Barcelona test.

The Spaniard is said to be "ok and conscious" with McLaren saying the hospital visit is just a precaution.
