Pimlico stabbing: Man charged with murder

A man has been charged with the murder of a teenager in central London.

Hani Abou El Kheir, 16, was attacked in Lupus Street, Pimlico, on 27 January. Police have said they think at least 10 people were involved.

Hani, who lived on the nearby Churchill Gardens estate, died from multiple stab wounds at King's College Hospital.

Ahmed Mikhaimar, 19, of Vauxhall Bridge Road, Victoria, is due to appear at Redbridge Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

Eight other people have been arrested in connection with the investigation.

An 18-year-old man remains in custody, while the others have been bailed, pending further inquiries,
