Rebecca Ferguson collapsed live on air during a performance on Loose Women earlier today (27 02 14).

The singer and former X Factor finalist was on the ITV chat show to promote her new single, "All That I've Got".

But viewers at home were shocked when she fell to the floor mid-song as the end credits started to roll.

The incident trended on Twitter within moments, with many fans expressing concerns for the singer's welfare.

However, a representative for Ferguson has told The Independent that she has since recovered.

"Rebecca started to feel unwell during her performance on Loose Women today, but she is fine now," a statement read.

Ferguson has since taken to Twitter to reassure her followers.

She posted: "I am feeling much better will rest today so sorry to worry everybody I fought through that song but at the end had nothing left love yas xxx"

The star released her second studio album, Freedom, in December.
