Leona Lewis says new album Glassheart has a "different energy" and comes from a "stronger place" than her previous records.

The singer told Newsbeat there were a few tracks that were different to her usual style but that most were the "heartfelt songs" that she's known for.

She also says her album doesn't give too much away about her private life, even though some fans may know about her past relationships from the media.

Leona Lewis was talking to Newsbeat reporter Chi Chi Izundu.
