Singer Lauryn Hill hinted that she is 'taking the high road' over her recent issues with former bandmate and lover Wyclef Jean.
In September the former Fugees rapper released autobiography Purpose, in which claimed that the star 'tricked him' into believing her first child, which is in fact fathered by Bob Marley's son Rohan, was his.
Finally reacting to headlines, the That thing singer reportedly told fans at a recent concert in Dallas, Texas that despite feeling 'attacked' by recent controversy, she is refusing to 'chat back'.
She allegedly told the crowd: "Let me tell you why I don't chat back. Because I know that my brothers and my sisters are often times pawns in a bigger scheme so when they, under pressure, attack me, I love them still."
"It's called the high road. Try taking it sometime," she added.
