Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to after a woman was sexually assaulted in a Birmingham pub.

The 37-year-old victim was standing at the bar of the Victoria public house in John Bright Street at around 9.30pm on Sunday 9 December, when a man sexually assaulted her.

The offender is described as a broadly built white man, approximately six feet tall with short fair or brown hair. He was wearing a cream coloured knitted cardigan.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the assault to come forward and anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV image should contact PC Dan Pugh on 101.

Anyone with information who does not want to speak to police can contact independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
