2012-10-08 00:07:05

Police have been given more time to question a man arrested on suspicion of murder after two bodies were found at a block of flats in Walsall.

West Midlands Police said post-mortem examinations were still taking place on the bodies found in Acacia Avenue.

The body of a woman, aged 69, was found inside a flat. Another body, believed to be a man in his 30s, was found behind the building.

Police were called on Saturday morning and arrested a 43-year-old man.

A spokesman said the force was not seeking anyone else over the deaths.

Det Insp Warren Hines, from West Midlands Police, said: "We believe all the parties involved were known to each other."
