Police appeal for missing Walsall teenager

Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a missing teenager from Walsall.

Leanne Pollitt left her home in Oak Road, Shelfield on New Year's Eve, she failed to return home, and was reported missing at 11pm.

The 16-year-old, who is is described as white, around 5ft 11ins tall, medium build, long blonde hair and blue eyes, was last seen wearing a black waist-length coat and black trousers.

PC Ben Cooper, from Walsall Police, said: "We want to find Leanne as quickly as possible and would ask anyone who has seen her to come forward and contact us.

"I would also appeal directly to Leanne to get in touch and let us know that she is safe and well."
