Man attacked after being given lift back from night out

An 18-year-old man was the victim of a serious sex assault when he was given a lift home from a night out in Wolverhampton.

The victim was offered the lift by three men during the early hours of August 30, but he was allegedly attacked on a grass patch behind Central Baths, just off Bath Avenue, in Whitmore Reams.

His bank card was also stolen in the attack.

Two of the men have already been identified but West Midlands Police have only just released CCTV images of a third man they want to speak to about the incident.

Police said they believe the man attacked the victim and took his bank card.

He is described as a Turkish man in his late 20s, 5ft 4ins tall, average build with short black hair and a black beard.

DC Michelle Lane, of West Midlands Police , said: “The victim has understandably been left traumatised by the attack and he continues to be provided with support from specially-trained officers.

“If you recognise the man in the images, then please contact the police.”
