Man appears in court charged with murder of Erdington man

A man is due to appear before Birmingham crown court tomorrow (Tuesday) charged with the murder of a man in the city last year.

The 21-year-old is accused of killing Anthony Brown, 45, who was found dead at a shared house in Kingsbury Road, Erdington, on December 14.

A post mortem examination failed to determine a cause of death and further tests are underway to establish how he died.

The man charged with his murder was arrested last Friday after he attended a police station.

He was charged on Saturday appeared before Birmingham magistrates on Sunday and remanded in custody to appear before crown court today.

A 27-year-old man has already been charged with Mr Brown's murder in December and is currently remanded in custody.
