Two men were arrested in Birmingham after bystanders reported seeing a gun pulled during an argument between motorists in the city centre.

West Midlands Police officers were called to reports of an argument between the occupants of two cars on Holloway Circus Queensway at 8.30pm on Sunday.

A white Audi was seen to drive off towards Bristol Road after the confrontation.

Cops tracked the vehicle and followed it through the city centre and the Bordesley area when it failed to stop.

The car was subsequently located in Saltley where a 17-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of firearms offences.

The teenager was subsequently released without charge, while the 20-year-old was released on police bail pending further enquiries.
