Four men injured in Hockley shooting

Police are appealing for witnesses after four men were shot in an incident in Birmingham.

Paramedics and police officers were called to the scene of the incident in Great Hampton Street, Hockley, at around 5pm on Saturday.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said: “Officers were called to reports of a shooting.

“Three men were taken to hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening leg injuries.

“A fourth man later went to hospital of his own accord.”

She said the area was sealed off by police while forensic enquiries were carried out.

Anyone who witnessed the incident should call officers on 101.
