Missing Birmingham teenager Mahsa Khazaei
Fears are growing for a Birmingham teenager who has been missing from her Aston home for more than a week.
Mahsa Khazaei, who is also known as Tammy, was last seen on Saturday, September 13, when she left the address where she had been staying on Victoria Street, Aston, saying she was going to meet friends in Harborne before visiting Birmingham city centre.
The 16-year-old, who is originally from Iran, was expected back at around 8.30pm but failed to return and has not been seen since.
Inspector Matt Downs, from Birmingham Central Police Station, said: "We are concerned for Mahsa's welfare and we just need to know she is safe.
"There are people who are very worried about her and we urge anyone who knows where she might be, or who has information which may help our inquiry, to contact us as soon as possible."
Mahsa is described as a white girl, of European appearance, 5ft 5in tall, of slim build, with curly long, black hair and brown eyes. She wears braces on her top teeth and speaks with an Iranian accent.
She was last seen wearing a grey zip-up hooded top, grey slim fit trousers and red trainers.
Anyone with information should call Birmingham Central Police Station on 101.
