Dog dies after being thrown from Druids Heath tower block window

A man is being questioned by police after a dog was thrown to its death from a Druids Heath tower block.

The American Bulldog was dead on arrival at a vets after it was hurled from a window at the block in Netheravon Close at around 7.45pm on Saturday, August 29.

A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft and animal cruelty and was bailed with strict conditions pending further investigation.

Acting Insp Matt Crowley said: “Enquiries into what happened are currently on-going and we are working closely with our partners at the RSPCA.”
