A former care worker has admitted attempting to murder three colleagues at a West Midlands care home.

Melissa Swift, 23, of Hambletts Road, West Bromwich, was arrested in August after staff and residents of Goldfield Court, in West Bromwich, were taken to hospital complaining of sickness.

At a short hearing at Birmingham Crown Court, she also admitted two separate counts of making threats to kill.

The case has been adjourned for sentencing on 17 April.
