Police Federation responds to London Bridge terror attack

THE POLICE Federation of England and Wales has renewed calls for more investment in neighbourhood policing in the wake of the Borough Market terror attack.

As London Met's chief Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe admitted the force need to look at resourcing and strategy, federation vice-chair Calum Macleod said:

“We must first recognise the extreme bravery shown by the officers and emergency service partners who, as always, put their lives in danger to help others.
