The body of rising Atlanta rapper Yung Teddy, 23, (pictured) was discovered at his Austell, Ga., home on Wednesday evening; he had been shot to death.
In a cryptic message about his life, the rapper sent out a tweet a day before stating that there were people who wanted him dead, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The day after New Year's, Teddy tweeted:
NIGGAS WANNA SEE ME DEAD
YUNG TEDDY FTW/SBC (@YungTeddy) January 02, 2013
A few hours after he posted his message on Twitter, he was found dead.
Cobb County police are seeking two black male suspects. The first is described as having a thin build, between 20 and 23 years old, and about 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9. He was last seen wearing a gray sweater, dark pants and a black beanie hat. He was armed with a handgun.
The second suspect is 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-6 tall. He was last seen wearing a multicolored beanie hat and a navy blue bandana covering his face.
So far, police are still investigating a motive behind the killing and are asking anyone with information to contact their department at 770-499-3945.
